The short version

We don't ask you to sign up, we don't run accounts, and we don't sell your data. The site uses Google Analytics to understand anonymous usage (which pages are visited, roughly from where), and a few third-party services to fetch prices and detect your country so the charts show the right currency.

What is collected

• Google Analytics (GA4): collects anonymized usage data such as pages viewed, device type, and approximate location. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
• Country detection: your IP address is used by ipwho.is solely to detect your country so we can pre-select your currency. We don't store it.
• Price data: your browser fetches live price data from gold-api.com; that request is subject to their policies.
• Preferences: your chosen currency/unit is saved in your browser's localStorage — on your device only.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no data from them.
